Founded in 1973, Geylang International will hope to make the home advantage count at the Soccer7sSeries as one of a number of teams representing Singapore in the global tournament. And the familiarity of the surroundings, coupled with a vocal support, could give the Eagles an extra edge as they meet top clubs from Europe, South America and the rest of Asia. Having won two Singapore Premier League titles, a Singapore Cup and two Singapore FA Cups over the years, Geylang will hope to create more history at Jalan Besar Stadium – this time in the seven-a-side format.
